A completely flooded system, with one major passage descending to the deepest point, and rising gently afterwards. With an entrance altitude of 18 metres, the lowest point in the cave is 64 metres below sea level, the second deepest known point of any cave in the British Isles. Depending on the accuracy of the approximated water level of Pollatoomary, this could in fact be the deepest point of any known cave in the British Isles. A brief description of its exploration is available online.
