Llanelly Quarry Pot

Cave details

Length:
1.705 km
Vertical range:
80 m
Region:
South Wales

A very awkward entrance (on the return) reaches a short pitch leading to a 1 km streamway. In both directions this is well decorated and is generally walking sized. In the upstream the going is easiest reaching a static sump after a long crawl in water and a choke. This direction also has two aven series. Downstream becomes progressively harder to reach a sump. There is no access control.
