Cave details
A natural surface shaft whose natural infill was cleared between 1962 and 1978 by miners who intersected it from below. The cave was then recognised as natural and descended by cavers in 2013. The mine has several other underground and surface cavities of similar depth, but those are stopes rather than natural.
