Cave details
Two potholes join through some tight passages. Meregill contains some beautifully fluted shafts and is worth the soaking that you get when you use the Mere entrance. The Mere is a long split in the ground with a deep pool in it. The height of the pool changes according to rainfall but the water never enters the known cave. A detailed trip description of the Meregill section was available online, but seems to have disappeared. It is still available via archive.org.
