Cave details

Length:
1 km
Vertical range:
< 60 m
Region:
Devon

An archeological showcave. Many large passages connected by narrower but still walking sized passages. There is a small lower series near the entrance and lots of bones everywhere. There is also, strangely, a fake doggy dropping lying in an archeological dig.

A typical passage in the showcave.

An archeological dig with some carefully placed artifacts (spot the odd one out).

A man-made section trough some calcite in the cave, used for age dating.

Sadly, showcave lights always affect the natural environment and ecosystem of caves.

The cave has many good decorations.

The author in a side passage.
