Cave details
A cave best known for its almost continuous and very impressive decorations as well as its large passages. The cave is generally very easy with only a few crawls to reach the early sections. A more lengthy crawl is required to reach the further reaches of the cave. This section has similar large passages and less areas of decorations but is still worth a visit. Access to the cave is only granted to bona fide cavers. See access information.
The length of the cave is sometimes incorrectly quoted as 13000 metres, but this is thought to be confusion between miles and km (8 miles is about 12.8 km). The actual length is thought to be 8 km, or perhaps a little longer.
